King Creole – An FSFX Pop Up Event

The FestivalSouth Film Expo (FSFX) celebrates “the king’s” 90th birthday with his favorite film role in King Creole. Elvis is joined by host of Hollywood stars in what is often considered his best performance. Presley plays Danny Fisher who is denied his high school diploma because of a schoolyard fight and is unsure how he’s going to support himself and his unemployed father. Before falling into a life of crime, a club owner hears him singing and offers him a job. It’s all going well until a rival club owner tries to lure him back with threats and the charms of woman.
