Sgraffito is a technique for decorating clay objects by carving through a layer of one color into a clay of a different color. The result is a two-toned image or pattern.
Experience this process by decorating a plate with teacher and artist Melanie Eubanks. You will come away with a finished piece that can be used for serving food or for hanging on the wall or both! You can use your own ideas for images or borrow templates from Melanie. Everything that you will need is included in the $60 fee. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!
