Dog Days 5K run, 2-mile walk and new 5-mile run/walk at FestivalSouth benefitting Hub City Service Dogs

The annual Dog Days Run/Walk is returning for its eighth year, now featuring a 5-mile run/walk in addition to the classic 5K and 2-mile options. Bring your friends, family, and furry companions to join in the fun while supporting Hub City Service Dogs, a local nonprofit that places and custom trains service dogs for a variety of medical disabilities for adults and children in south central Mississippi. Also, don’t miss the chance to showcase your dog’s style at the Run by Dog Pageant, judged by celebrity guests stationed along the course. After crossing the finish line and getting your medal, the festivities continue with delicious food, lively music, vendors, and a variety of dog-friendly activities at the Finish Line Festival.
Please ensure your dog is healthy, with up-to-date vaccinations, and securely leashed (no retractable leashes allowed). The 5-mile course is not dog-friendly and cannot support canine participation. Prizes will be awarded in several categories at the Run by Dog Pageant, including Coolest Dog, Best Dressed, Best Parent/Pooch Pair, Tiny Tot, Super Dog, Diva Dog, and Most Handsome Hound.
