Juneteenth is the celebration of freedom for African American slaves and the power of this day continues to resonate in strength, solidarity, and in song. Krista will take you on a journey with songs that represent not only the struggle that African Americans had to face, but songs that represent freedom for an oppressed people. She will perform songs by powerful female vocalists such as Mahalia Jackson, Billie Holliday, Nancy Wilson, and Aretha Franklin just to name a few.  This is a concert that you will not want to miss!!
