FILM EXPO 2016

FestivalSouth is pleased to announce the official selections to the 2016 FestivalSouth Film Expo. FSFX opens with a red-carpet event at The Dollar Box Showroom on May 30 at 7:30 p.m. Screenings take place at The Grand Theatre May 31 - June 2 at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. and on June 3 at 2 and 4 p.m. prior to the Awards Ceremony as part of the Best of the Pine Belt Awards at 7:30 p.m. on June 3rd at the Saenger. During the day, FSFX offers panel discussions and workshops for participants. Specific block, showing times, etc. will be announced at a later date.

Expo sponsors include Forrest County, Visit Hattiesburg, Historia Films, The Grand Theatre and That’s a Wrap TV/Film Acting Studio.

Also planed as part of FSFX is a special sneak preview of Miles Doleac’s “The Hollow,” starring James Callis, Christiane Seidel, William Forsythe, William Sadler, David Warshofsky and Jeff Fahey, that was shot in Mississippi on Thursday, June 2.
