In true American style, Hattiesburg began its westward growth in the 1920’s by establishing its first suburb, modeled after ideals of class and sophistication. Join local historian Russell Archer of Hub History Experience as you discover the early history of the picturesque “Park Haven” neighborhood. After, stop into T-Bones for a poetry and songwriting event while enjoying something from this local favorite.
TOUR NOTES: Starting and ending at T-Bones, this is a four-block leisurely walking tour with mild inclines. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and sun protection. Water will be provided.
