Featuring special guest James Meredith, a major figure in the American civil rights movement as well as a lawyer, economist, author and Harvard Education Impact Medalist, this event is an exploration of Black culture and civil rights through stories, spoken word, and song for the purpose of understanding, uplifting, and unifying. Join us as we honor voices of the past, present, and future. This program features music by composers such as Margaret Bonds, Ricky Ian Gordon, Harry T. Burleigh and others.
