Join us for a fun-filled morning of dance where kids will get the chance to learn exciting dance moves and a choreographed routine from talented local dance teacher, Loren Burke-Johnsen! Perfect for children of all skill levels, this event promises energetic activities and celebrates the joy of movement.
This event is free to participants in the Hattiesburg Parks and Recreation Summer Camp.

About Loren Burke-Johnsen
Loren Burke-Johnsen is a teacher at Purvis High School and the coach of the Dazzlers Dance Team. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from The University of Southern Mississippi and her master’s degree in Secondary Education from Mississippi State University. She spent 15 years at StageStruck Performance Studio working as a choreographer and movement instructor, an experience that greatly influenced her approach to both teaching and coaching. Dance has always been more than an activity for her. It has been a lifelong passion, a creative outlet, and a source of balance. Whether in the classroom or the dance studio, she is dedicated to helping students grow, build confidence, and believe in their abilities.
