FestivalSouth Commemorative Artwork

Each year, FestivalSouth® celebrates the season by inviting a visual artist to share their work with the world through an exhibition as well as using one of their works as a commemorative art for the festival. This year, Adam Trest created a beautiful painting entitled, “A Rhythm in Blues” as the official commemorative poster for the 2024 season. This 32 by 40-inch vertical canvas is now being auctioned with all proceeds supporting the arts and artists of FestivalSouth. The auction continues through June 22 at 7 p.m. CST. The winner will be announced at the FestivalFinale in the Saenger Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Winner need not be present to win.

In addition, from June 1 – 22, a special collection of works by Trest will be presented in an exhibition entitled, “The Art of Storytelling” at the Downey Gallery at University Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. For more information on the artist, visit adamtrest.com.
